Beta Xi Chapter - Andrea Merrick Dranberg Scholarship

Andrea Merrick Dranberg was initiated as a member of the Beta Xi Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau at Michigan Tech in 1998. While Andrea was fighting colon cancer, her Beta Xi Sisters took turns accompanying her to chemotherapy sessions. After Andrea passed away, her Sisters stayed in touch with and supported Andrea's husband and son. In 2023, Andrea's parents established this scholarship in her memory.

This scholarship fund will support collegiate members of the Beta Xi chapter majoring in engineering, with preference given to first-generation college students.
